Who This Program Is For

The PLC Cleaning Crew is designed for adults and young adults with autism or developmental disabilities who benefit from structured coaching, supervision, and skill-building support, and who may face barriers to traditional employment.

This is not a general employment opportunity. The PLC Cleaning Crew is a free, supported job training program focused on building essential skills for future employment in commercial cleaning. Participants develop real-world job skills in a structured, supportive environment, with the goal of preparing them for potential paid employment opportunities after completing the program.

The PLC Cleaning Crew is a supported employment training program for:

  • Adults and young adults with autism
  • Individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Participants who benefit from structured coaching, supervision, and skill-building support
  • Individuals who may face barriers to traditional employment

Eligibility

To participate in the PLC Cleaning Crew program, individuals must:

 

  • Identify as neurodivergent or have a developmental disability
  • Be able to follow basic safety instructions
  • Participate in training and supervision
  • Be supported through Passport, ODSP, private funding, or PLC program enrollment

Important Note

The PLC Cleaning Crew is a therapeutic and skill-development program. We are unable to offer open employment positions to the general public.
