Designed to make you feel at ease, the space features calming tones, natural light, and friendly staff ready to assist you. In line with our values of creating employment opportunities for neurodivergent individuals and those with developmental delays, we kindly ask that visitors be patient and kind with our team members as they help you.

Our waiting area provides a comfortable and relaxing space for you to unwind before your programs and services begin. Designed with cozy seating and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this space offers a perfect opportunity for caregivers to chat, connect, and support one another while waiting. The thoughtfully arranged layout ensures a calm environment, with natural elements and soft lighting to enhance your experience at Progressive Life Centre.

Our spacious and thoughtfully designed hallways make it easy for you to navigate through the centre. With clear, modern signage, you can effortlessly locate key areas such as the gym, therapy rooms, dental suite, the multipurpose room, washrooms, and group learning spaces. The soft curves and calming colour palette create a soothing environment as you move from one service to the next, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience throughout your visit.

Our gym is designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for fitness enthusiasts of all levels. Featuring easy-to-use, selectorized machines, the equipment is perfect for those seeking a safe and efficient workout experience. While the gym is compact, it offers everything you need to focus on strength, conditioning, and overall wellness, with a limited capacity to ensure a calm and comfortable space for all participants. 

Our spacious gymnasium is designed for a variety of sports and fitness activities, offering a versatile space for participants of all ages and abilities. With a basketball court and ample room for multi-sport use, it’s ideal for everything from individual training to group sports. To ensure a comfortable environment for everyone, we plan to install acoustic paneling to reduce noise and minimize overstimulation, making it a welcoming space for neurodivergent individuals and others who may be sensitive to sensory input.

Our Multi-Purpose Space is a dynamic and flexible area designed for a variety of activities and interactions. It offers diverse seating options allowing participants to engage in ways that best suit their needs.  To enhance focus and minimize distractions, we’ve installed acoustic paneling throughout the room, creating a calm and supportive environment for both group and individual activities. Whether for socializing, reading, or creative endeavors, this space fosters a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all.

Our Nooks offer a variety of cozy, private spaces designed for one-on-one activities, therapy, or counseling sessions. Each nook is thoughtfully arranged to provide comfort and relaxation, featuring options such as rockers, bean bag chairs, and soft lighting to create a calming environment. These spaces are also perfect for individuals seeking some quiet time alone, ensuring a peaceful setting to recharge and reflect.

Our dental suite is designed to provide a calm and supportive environment for participants as part of our Dental Confidence Program. Equipped with a dental chairs and tools, the space is tailored to simulate dental office. With soothing artwork and sensory-friendly design elements, our suite is a welcoming space where participants can learn to feel at ease with dental procedures. This space will be used as part of our Dental Confidence Program and is available to rent by others

Our Snoezelen Room, equipped with Snoezelen® brand sensory equipment, is designed specifically with adults in mind. This calming, multi-sensory environment features a massage mat, swing, bubble tubes, and bean bag chairs, all aimed at promoting relaxation and sensory exploration. The room offers a peaceful, low-stimulation space where participants can unwind and engage with the sensory tools at their own pace, creating an individualized experience of calm and comfort.

Our gaming room is the perfect space for fun and relaxation, offering a variety of entertainment options for all interests. Equipped with video game consoles, board games, foosball, and darts, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you prefer competitive gaming or casual play, the gaming room provides a comfortable and engaging environment for participants to connect, unwind, and have fun.

Our modern kitchen is the heart of hands-on learning and social engagement at the centre. It’s equipped with spacious counters and seating, making it the perfect setting for our cooking classes, meal prep programs, and social gatherings. Participants can develop essential cooking skills while enjoying the experience of preparing and sharing meals together. The kitchen fosters independence, creativity, and community connection, all in a welcoming, fully accessible environment.

Our simulated grocery store offers participants a hands-on learning experience in a real-world setting. Designed to teach essential life skills, the store allows individuals to practice shopping, budgeting, and meal planning! Stocked with a variety of products and a featuring checkout station, the space provides an engaging way to build independence and confidence while preparing for everyday tasks outside the centre. This space is an integral part of our programs focused on life skills development and community integration.
